Contributors

the Urban Archivists

Being transmetropolitan, this journal accepts contributions from several writers in several cities. Here is a list of some of the keen eyes and witty scribes posting dispatches.

Tom Dobrowolsky

Regular Haunts: Seattle (u-district, pioneer square), Chicago, industrial areas, highway corridors, places in between the cities.

Tom likes driving the open road and walking the dense streets. He also has a soft spot for water-borne vessels. You can sometimes find Tom sitting on the waterfront, trying to sneak onto the rooftops of buildings, or driving aimlessly after midnight.

John Glover

Regular Haunts: Burien, Grayland, Kent, SeaTac, Seattle (U-District, Wallingford), Westport

John roams the living streets and back alleys of Seattle, looking for doughnuts and a good Reuben sandwich. A South Ender born and bred, he regularly returns to his home territory so he can remember where he came from. He has a special interest in the Washington coast, especially the area stretching from Westport to Tokeland. If it’s not gray and raining, he’s probably not happy.

SJ Alexander

Regular Haunts: Seattle Neighborhoods–Wallingford, Fremont, Woodland Park, Greenwood, Phinney Ridge, Roosevelt

SJ Alexander is a stay-at-home mother to an exotic and rare Variegated Cushion Weasel and an ever-growing list of phobias. SJ interested in Seattle history and documenting her favorite places as they improve or go into the crapper. She can also be found writing on other topics at iasshole.org.
