<description>Well sir, I think you've finally nailed it! AND despite the loss of alliteration, I'm grateful that you have dropped the "slutty"...I'm trying to decide if promiscuous is better. Having grown up in Long Beach, WA, I must remind you that the whole purpose is to make a livelyhood, afterall, and the only way one does that is by having a business that is either entertaining or useful in some way. That is what we strive for after all. (ie Marsh's FREE Museum)

I must admit to outright grinning and even letting a chuckle or two escape whilst reading this piece. Much MUCH better...still witty...but you showed the LOVE, MAN! THANK YOU...and say hello to my DH next time you're in Cannon Beach...he rides a bike to help you tourists in any way he can for the Police Dept. there. (He's the "old" one.) He writes parking tickets too but only if he HAS to.

Seaside has been our home for over 25 years now...and it's been fun to share it with terro...oops...I mean tourists for the most part. We love to park uptown sometimes and watch families having great fun. You have missed some of BEST restaurants, however, including Dooger's and Norma's both owned by locals (as is the Pig) and both serving seafood amongst other things...and then I think I mentioned before or if I didn't...Sam's uptown for burgers etc., Big Foot on the highway for steaks and burgers...(yum), Herb's of course, and Riley's across from the Police Dept. for their burgers and fish n chips....Oh...and Bell Buoy for their fish N chips...oh well, then there is Taste of Tuscany for those SPECIAL nights out...Italian food, of coure...I could go on...but I better stop.

One of our fav things to do, being the old folks we are now, is to go park at The Cove (at the south end of town) and watch the surfers, pelicans, and people....Oh, we even have a sushi restaurant! Ok, ok...I'm stopping...Anyway, come back and visit again real soon....it's gorgeous here!
